For finding the correct code set, we recommend holding the Blumoo HomeBase and pointing it at the device you are trying to control. This removes other factors such as misplacement, weak IR receiver (on device being controlled) etc. After you've found the correct codes for all of your devices, you can typically place the Blumoo HomeBase wherever you'd like. Some room/device configurations may require you to play around with the placement of your Blumoo HomeBase in order to find the optimal position to reach every device.
