When creating a macro button we always recommend using discrete codes (Power On, Power Off, Input HDMI 1, etc) IF your device has them (some don't).  If you have a TOGGLE code in a macro then you can get your devices out of sync with each other because someone turned off the TV manually etc.  If you ever get out of sync due to a Toggle being in a macro you can go to the remote for that device and hit the Power button to turn if on/off and get it back in sync.

I have one room in my house with a cheap TV and sound bar that only have Power Toggle buttons.  For this room I make a Power All button that has both power toggles and I leave the Power Toggle out of my specific activity buttons like "Watch TV".

Many cable boxes only have a Power Toggle - in this case I typically just leave my cable box on all the time, but this is a personal preference.
